Plasma- und Bluthistamin bei verschiedenen Schockformen des Meerschweinchens

Abstract
In anaphylactic shock of guinea pigs (lethality 90%) the level of plasma histamine was on the average about 16 times higher than that of normal animals. The histamine content of blood cells was unchanged. In anaphylatoxin shock of same lethality the level of plasma histamine was about 18 times higher than normal. The blood cell histamine decreased. In Forssman shock (lethality 94%) the plasma histamine level was only 3 times higher than normal. The blood cell histamine decreased to very low levels. In histamine shock (lethality 70%) the level of plasma histamine was about 22 times higher than normal. Blood cell histamine was not investigated. In each of these 4 types of shock there was relation between the intensity of shock and the level of plasma histamine. The most remarkable change in the cellular composition of blood was a great decrease of the platelets in anaphylatoxin shock and especially in Forssman shock. In Forssman shock there was also a decrease of leukocytes, especially of granulo-cytes. The decrease of leukocytes was smaller in anaphylatoxin shock and smallest in anaphylactic shock.
