Abstract
Notoclinops Whitley, 1930, an endemie New Zealand genus, is formally diagnosed. It differs from other tripterygiid genera by a unique combination of morphologieal and osteologieal eharaeters and includes two species: N. segmentatus (McCulloeh and Phillipps, 1923) and N. yaldwyni n.sp. Enneapterygius mortenseni Rendahl, 1926 and Tripterygion bucknilli Griffin, 1926 are both synonyms of N. segmentatus.Keywords
