Abstract
The solid and ascites forms of the L1210 leukemia were studied by electron microscopy. Various types of virus particles were seen in the cells, either free in the cytoplasm or in association with membrane systems, such as the endoplasmic reticulum, the inner cytoplasmic membrane, and the plasma membrane. Differences in the aggregation of ribosomes were noted between the cells from the ascites and solid forms. Such differences may be due to the type of nutritional environment provided by the host. Keywords
