Abstract
A semiclassical, geometrical model for high-energy hadron collisions is proposed, which incorporates multiparticle unitarity. The model leads to asymptotically constant elastic and total cross sections (fixed Pomeranchuk pole at J=1), together with logarithmically increasing average multiplicities. A specific phenomenological form of the hadronic current distribution, first used by Heckman, is found to give very good agreement with single-particle inclusive spectra with no adjustable parameters. Correlation functions are not present in this model.
