Abstract
A semiclassical, geometrical model for high-energy hadron collisions is proposed, which incorporates multiparticle unitarity. The model leads to asymptotically constant elastic and total cross sections (fixed Pomeranchuk pole at ), together with logarithmically increasing average multiplicities. A specific phenomenological form of the hadronic current distribution, first used by Heckman, is found to give very good agreement with single-particle inclusive spectra with no adjustable parameters. Correlation functions are not present in this model.
