Abstract
A new class of heterometallo-binuclear complex [RuII(bpy)2(bpy–cyclam)NiII]4+(3)(bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) has been synthesized as a new complex for use in photocatalysts; NMR and X-ray structural studies show a close contact between a hydrogen atom of the pendant bpy and NiII in the cyclam. Keywords
