Nutrition and Disease of the Liver

Abstract
THE pathogenesis and therapy of liver disease are considered in some measure nutritional problems. The purpose of this paper is to survey the evidence implicating nutritional deficiency in the etiology of liver disease in man and contrariwise to point out the effects of established liver disease upon nutrition. Finally, the therapeutic implications derived from the facts available are presented.The discussion is largely confined to the problems as they concern liver disease in man.
