Abstract
The effect on adrenal cortical secretion of injecting vasopressin into the arterial circulations supplying the pituitary and adrenal glands of dogs was studied. Injections into the adrenal artery caused an increase in adrenal venous levels of 17-OHCS at each dose studied; only the higher doses caused increase in 17-OHCS secretion when injected into the internal carotid artery.
