Abstract
Fractionation of a crude extract of calf median eminence on carboxymethylcellulose columns yields a preparation which induces adrenal ascorbic acid depletion in the median eminence lesioned rat. This partially purified corticotropin releasing factor (CRF) is substantially free from corticotropic and pressor activities. Keywords
