Abstract
A geochemical method of searching for proton decay, similar to the one used for double-β decay, is discussed. If a proton inside such nuclei as Na23, K39, Rb85,87, and Cs133 can decay, then anomalous amounts of the rare-gas isotopes Ne22, Ar38, Kr84,86, and Xe132 may be found occluded in ancient ores.
