Abstract

Several thiocyanato derivatives of purines and their ribonuclesides as potential antineoplastic agents, were prepared by the reaction of mercap-topurines and their ribonucleosides with cyanogen bromide. The reaction of these thiocyanato derivatives were examined with acid, alkali, Na methoxide and Raney Ni.
