Abstract
The molecular weight of crystalline cytochrome c peroxidase of baker''s yeast has been determined as 34 100 on the basis of sedimentation and diffusion studies. The value is derived from a sedimentation coefficient of 3.55 S at infinite dilution, a diffusion coefficient of 9.44 F and a partial specific volume of 0.733. ml per g.
