Detection of the amino radical NH2 by laser magnetic resonance spectroscopy

Abstract
Laser magnetic resonance spectra of the NH2 radical in the lowest vibrational level of its 2B1 ground electronic state have been detected, using far infrared H2O and D2O lasers. The spectra have been assigned to individual Zeeman components of the rotational transitions 220 − 331 (78 μm H2O laser), 111 − 220 (118.6 μm H2O laser) and 735 − 744 (108 μm D2O laser).
