Multiple Myeloma Involving the Iris

Abstract
• Intraocular invasion by neoplastic plasma cells is a rare ophthalmic manifestation of plasma cell dyscrasias. A 67-year-old man who had documented multiple myeloma presented with an infiltration of the iris that simulated a nongranulomatous uveitis. Cytologic examination of the aspirate obtained by anterior chamber paracentesis demonstrated that the infiltrate was composed of neoplastic plasma cells.Keywords
