Abstract
It is shown that the V‐i characteristic of discharges in flashlamps operating in the prepulsed mode at high current densities follows the relationship V=K0i0.85. This result is interpreted in terms of the Sagdeev‐Galeev anomalous resistivity due to current‐driven ion‐acoustic turbulence. Keywords
