Abstract
With malaria the only major cause of hepatomegaly, a definite correlation was indicated between the amount of malaria in the area and the size of the livers of infected natives. The pathogenesis of such liver enlargement is as yet uncertain. There is no such doubt in the case of the presence of splenomegaly among infected natives. Keywords
