The study of the excited states of26Mg below 11 MeV by inelastic electron scattering

Abstract
The excited states of 26Mg below 11 MeV excitation energy were studied by inelastic electron scattering in the momentum transfer range 0.4 to 1.05 fm-1. At lower excitation energies, several spin-parity uncertainties were resolved and the spin-parity assignments were extended up to 11 MeV. Ground state reduced transition probabilities and transition radii were measured for 29 levels. The reduced transition probabilities were found to be more accurate than existing experimental results. The form factors and transition probabilities are compared to various theoretical predictions.
