Anharmonicity in Unimolecular Reactions

Abstract
The in‐line vibrations of a linear, symmetric, triatomic molecule having Morse bond‐stretching potentials are studied numerically. The significance of the results for unimolecular rate theory is discussed. Harmonic and weakly anharmonic approximations appear to be inadequate.Keywords
