Electrical resistivity of electron-irradiated concentrated Fe-Cr-Ni alloys during isochronal annealing

Abstract
The resistivity of various Fe-Ni-Cr alloys, electron-irradiated at 4·2 K, has been investigated during annealing from 4·2 to 1300 K. The annealing behaviour for these alloys is completely different from that of pure metals, except in the temperature range below 100 K. A large resistivity increase and decrease was observed, a behaviour which cannot be attributed to the radiation-induced Frenkel defects, but could be explained consistently in terms of nucleation and growth of small microdomains during the migration of the radiation-induced interstitials and vacancies.
