Abstract
The effect of a test meal of 50 cc. 7% alcohol was studied on 51 individuals. The maximum 10 min. volume of secretion varied from 10 to 50 cc. and tended to decrease with age. An attempt is made to define the normal variations in volume of gastric secretion. Curves of volume of total gastric contents are presented and discussed. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
