Rapidity Correlations between the Negative Pions Produced in theInteraction

Abstract
Dramatic behavior is observed in the correlation between as a function of their rapidity separation . At small , the are strongly positively correlated. At large the correlation length is measured to be 0.52±0.03. Particle-production and particle-particle correlations are distinguished and studied.
