Über Emulsin. XXVI. Die Einwirkung von Osmiumtetroxyd auf Süßmandelemulsin.

Abstract
OsO4 inactivates the [beta]-glucosidase of almond emulsin. The enzyme may be partially reactivated by H2S or cystein. This reactivation is probably due to reduction of OsO4 to OsO2. Tryptophane plus OsO4 gives much greater inhibition than OsO4 alone.
