Abstract
The infra‐red absorption spectra of the isomeric mono‐deutero propanes have been observed. A difference in the position of the primary and secondary C–C stretching frequencies is reported. This difference places the secondary C—D frequency 45 cm−1±5 cm−1 lower than the corresponding primary C—D vibration. Keywords
