Abstract
• Five patients with brain biopsy-proven herpes simplex encephalitis (HSE) had normal computerized tomographic (CT) scans one to seven days after the onset of symptoms referable to the CNS. Although an abnormal CT scan is helpful in the recognition of HSE, an early normal study does not preclude the diagnosis. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
