KA,K*, andφDecay Calculations with Hard Kaons

Abstract
The strong decays of KA, K*, and φ mesons are calculated using (a) Ward identities derived from equaltime commutation relations of chiral SU(3)SU(3), (b) the notion of a partially conserved strangeness-changing axial-vector current, (c) dominance of spectral functions by gauge mesons, and (d) maximum smoothness of proper vertex functions. This method was originally introduced by Weinberg and Schnitzer for SU(2)×SU(2) and applied to A1 and ρ decays. We describe the ωφ system by the current-mixing model. The resonance contribution to the KA-decay Dalitz plot is obtained.
