Abstract
The literature on inhibition of DOPA(3,4-dihydroxy-phenylalanine) decarboxylase in vitro and in vivo is reviewed, and additional original data are presented on the pharmacodynamics of DOPA decarboxylation and its inhibition, with emphasis on competitive substrate analogues.Keywords
