Abstract
Epithelioid and giant cells were covering the surface of a free-floating brunescent nucleus of a lens that was left in the posterior chamber for two years after extracapsular cataract surgery. This is used as an example to show that the anterior eye has the ability to react to free-floating material in its fluids with a simple foreign body reaction.Keywords
