Two-body nonleptonic weak decays of charm and bottom mesons

Abstract

Two-body hadronic pseudoscalar and vector $\mathrm{PP}$, $\mathrm{PV}$, and $\mathrm{VV}$ weak decays of charm and bottom mesons are systematically investigated. The $\pi P$ charm modes are predicted to be of order 2%, in agreement with experiment, and the $\pi P$ bottom modes are of order 0.5%, consistent with expectation.
