Abstract
Adrenal cortical extract had no significant effect on the basal O2 consumption; lowered the standing O2 consumption by about 6%; and reduced the O2 consumption while walking at the rate of 100 m. per min. by about 10%. The effect is cumulative and persistent and seems to be reversed by repeated injections. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
