Abstract
On 12 different, chemically pure polymers, attachment and slime production by the coagulase-negative staphylococcal strain KH11 were studied. The polymers were classified into 3 groups: those with significant staphylococcal attachment, but no slime production, those with significant staphylococcal attachment and moderate slime production and those with significant attachment and slime production. Attachment and slime production seemed to be independent of the presence of organic additives in biomaterials. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
