Abstract
The CO2 content of sweat, especially acid sweat, was low. After removal of CO2 by boiling or aeration, alkaline sweat tended to become more alkaline; acid sweat usually showed no change in reaction. Such sweats apparently were acid because of components other than CO2, fatty acid, or P. The N and Cl content of arthritic sweat, the N content and reaction of sweat in psoriasis, and the reaction of sweat in sclero-derma and in nephritis showed no abnormalities. The N content of sweat in nephritis tended to be high. In psoriasis no sweating was observed over the involved areas. Keywords
