Abstract
An electron microscope investigation of abnormal vegetative cells and asci of a strain of Saccharomyces carlsbergensis has revealed virus-like particles with a slightly elongated hexagonal head measuring 80 × 70 mμ and a tail of the same length or slightly shorter than the longitudinal axis of the head.Keywords
