Basophil Leukocytes in Allergic Eczematous Contact Dermatitis

Abstract
The number of basophilic leukocytes is, as a rule, much higher in vesicles from patch test reactions from cases of contact dermatitis than in the blood of the same patient. This is not the case in bullae raised by primary irritants. The significance of these findings is discussed.Keywords
