Abstract
Marquis wheat plants, 10 in. high, were sprayed with 5 or 500 ppm. 2,4-D and enzyme activity in the aerial part detd. 9 hrs., 1, 2, 4, and 8 days after treatment. These non-lethal concns. resulted in increases in activity of phosphorylase, beta-amylase, catalase and peroxidase. The activity of phosphatase was decreased by treatment. The deviations from the control levels reached maxima by the 1st or 2d day after treatment. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
