Abstract
With the patient placed on a constant sodium intake, 500-1000[mu]g aldosterone I. M. or I. V. caused retention of sodium and chloride, increased body weight, increased systolic blood pressure, increased serum sodium, and increased potassium excretion. Similar effects occurred with fluorohydrocortisone administration. Keywords
