Abstract
The use of captopril, an inhibitor of angiotensin-converting enzyme and enkephalinase, was associated with substantial mood elevation in three depressed patients. Substances that may alter neuropeptide synthesis or degradation warrant further investigation as therapeutic agents in certain neuropsychiatric disorders. Keywords
