Abstract
Tetraethylammonium chloride in dosage sufficient to block the stellate ganglion in-tensified the cardiac arrhythmias produced by epinephrine in dogs during cyclopropane anesthesia. The tetraethylammonium ion also potentiated the cardiac effects of epinephrine in unanesthetized dogs. Phenylephrine injns. following tetraethylammonium resulted in no cardiac arrhythmias. Keywords
