Abstract
Fraction A of oxidized insulin was hydrolysed with pepsin and chymo-trypsin. The resulting peptides were fractionated and their structure investigated. It is concluded that the amino-acid sequence in the glycyl chain of insulin is Gly.Ileu.Val.Glu.Glu. CyS.CyS.Ala.Ser.Val.CyS.Ser.Leu.Tyr.Glu.Leu.Glu.Asp.Tyr. CyS.Asp.Keywords
