Abstract
Special strains of mice were shown to be susceptible to acute disseminated encephalomyelitis after peripheral inoculation of brain tissue, particularly that derived from homologous species. The active agent is centrifuged at 8000 g. and is not dialyzable under certain conditions. Mouse brain is encephalitogenic in a heterologous species and heterologous tissues are encephalitogenic in the mouse.Keywords
