Absolute thermoelectric power of polycrystalline indium

Abstract
The absolute thermoelectric power of polycrystalline indium was measured between 42 and 300 K. It was found to be positive in this temperature range with a pronounced phonon drag peak at 15 K. The results are in sharp contrast to those for A1 and add experimental evidence to the view that in In there is a considerable departure from the nearly free electron behaviour.
