Abstract
Low-energy (h(cross) omega =21.2 eV) photoemission measurements of liquid gallium made over the temperature range 320K to 820K are reported. The optical density of states derived from the spectra contrasts with a free-electron curve and reflects the main features observed in high-energy X-ray-induced spectra for solid gallium films. Little variation is found in the spectra with change of temperature. Keywords
