Chronic Intoxication with Vitamin A in Adults

Abstract
8 cases of chronic hypervitaminosis A have been observed in adults. The clinical features and pathogenesis of the intoxication are discussed together with the case of an 18-year-old woman who experienced pronounced hair-fall after an intake of 300,000 L U. vitamin A daily for 1 year.Keywords
