A second case of aseptic meningitis following isotope cisternography using I 131 human serum albumin

Abstract

Although such a study has proved valuable in the verification and localization of spinal fluid rhinorrhea, it is not without hazard. In both reported cases, rhinorrhea ceased. It was postulated that the meningeal reaction was of sufficient intensity to produce this fortuitous result.
