Abstract
Parallel studies on heat denaturation, digestion by ribonuclease, and hyperchromicity of T4 messenger RNA indicate that the messenger RNA molecule in its biologically active form is a single-stranded polynucleotide with a degree of secondary structure similar to that of a random copolymer.Keywords
