Abstract
After inhibition of rat pseudo cholinesterase of heart, serum, jejunum and diaphragm by diethyl p-nitrophenyl phosphate (E 600) the total recovery of enzyme activity occurs in about a day both in vivo and in vitro. A difference in recovery of activity (in vitro and in vivo) between the pseudo cholinesterase of brain and the other pseudo cholinesterases examined was shown. The recovery of true cholinesterase after inhibition with E 600 occurs slowly (60% in 4 days) both in vivo and in vitro. Keywords
