Blood flow and volume measurements in the radiation depopulated testis of the rat

Abstract
The testis of the rat has been used as an experimental model for measuring blood flow and blood volume changes in tissue depopulated by X-rays. The results show that for single doses of X-ray up to 600 rads the blood flow per unit weight remains constant during the depopulation phase, while the blood volume per unit weight of tissue is increased.Keywords
