Abstract
1. Plasma samples from certain chronically anemic humans have a humoral erythropoietic-stimulating factor. 2. Sixteen anemic uremic patients were studied to evaluate plasma levels of erythropoietic-stimulating factor. Fifteen of these patients showed no active erythropoietic-stimulating factors. Keywords
