Mo92(p,p′γ)Reaction via Isobaric Analog Resonances

Abstract
Low-lying states in Mo92 were excited by inelastic proton scattering via several isobaric analog resonances in Tc93. Angular distributions of the subsequent γ rays were measured between 0° and 140° and analyzed in the framework of Weidenmüller's theory in order to extract information on the partial waves of the outgoing protons. The partial widths obtained are compared with the results of coupled-channel calculations applied to the bound Mo93 parent system.
