Abstract
Thin films of ZnS:Cu, Mn, Cl have been excited by direct current and the response to voltage reversal and unidirectional square pulses studied. Emission‐current‐voltage relations are considered and the results compared with information on ac‐excited phosphors of this type. The results indicate that applications of dc excited films in solid‐state devices depend on their good brightness at low voltage and high discrimination ratio. Keywords
