Abstract
A real-space renormalization-group method is used to investigate particle motion on percolation lattices in the presence of an external force K. At the percolation threshold pc the particle position, R, varies as Rtχ, where χ<1 and tχ gives the mean square displacement. Near pc, the linear response theory is found to hold only asymptotically under the condition γKlkBTξ1 or γ(wt)χ2, where l is a lattice constant, ξ is a coherence length, and w is a transition rate.
