Interpolation of Variationally Obtained Scattering Cross Sections

Abstract
Standard variational methods are shown to contain the information necessary to construct the Jost function, a quantity which was previously shown to yield readily to interpolation. This allows narrow resonances to be found and characterized without extensive explicit computations.Keywords
